CFAI Cup Finals

The CFAI have confirmed the running order for their Festival of Football Finals which will be proudly hosted by Limerick IT

The finals of the Bob Eustace Cup and Shield, and the B Team Cup Final will all take place on the 7th March with Moylish Park hosting all three games.

Dun Laoghaire IADT will take on Drogheda Institute of FE in the Bob Eustace Shield. Won by the Air Corps last year, Dun Laoghaire have won the main competition twice in the last 10 years while Drogheda reached the CUFL Division Three semi-final before being eliminated by eventual winners Maynooth University 'D'.

DBS go in search of their first trophy when they take on CUFL Division Four champions Carlow Institute of FE. DBS have had a mixed season whereas their opponents have been unbeaten all year and twice came back in the Division Four final to take the spoils.

In the highlight of Day One, Cork IT 'B' go in search of their third success in the B Team Cup competition when they take on Limerick IT 'B'. Since claiming back to back successes in 2011 and 2012, the trophy has remained in Leinster with successes for IT Carlow, Dublin IT and Colaiste Ide.

On Day Two, the UMBRO Plate Final commences the day with IT Tallaght and Waterford IT battling for success in a fascinating tie.

The action will conclude with a blockbuster clash in the home of SSE Airtricity League side Limerick FC, The Markets Field, when reigning champions IT Carlow meet Letterkenny IT in the UMBRO Colleges Cup Final. Carlow will be seeking an unprecedented sixth success in a row, a ninth victory overall when they face off with Shane Byrne's North-Western side who have won the competition three times in the past, their last final victory in 2006
