IT Carlow have named a 12 man squad for the upcoming EUSA Futsal Finals which will take place in Zagreb, Croatia from July 18th 25th. IT Carlow will compete against fifteen other Universities from across Europe and will be the first team to represent Ireland at this competition.

Derek O'Neill, FAI National Co-ordinator for Futsal said "IT Carlow qualifying for this tournament is a very positive occasion for Futsal in Ireland, its shows the progress and growth the game has made over the past number of years. This is a prestigious tournament and it will be a good opportunity for the IT Carlow squad to test themselves against the best universities in Europe".

The IT Carlow team secured qualification with a convincing 6-2 victory over D.I.T. (Dublin Institute of Technology) at the CUFL National Futsal Finals which were held in University of Limerick in April.
