Notable Performances
Shane O'Connor delivered a man of the match performance in earning Cobh Ramblers a point at home to Drogheda United. O'Connor was a constant menace throughout keeping Drogheda keeper Patrick Dunican on his toes throughout. O'Connor eventually got the better of Dunican with just over a quarter of the game remaining, but was denied the win by an all-hands-on-deck 10 man defensive performance led by Drogs defender Niall Cooney.

Georgie Kelly got a crucial winner for UCD in their local derby against Cabinteely in Belfield. The Donegal-born youngster took his strike well after his defensive team mate Maxim Kouogun scored his second goal of the new campaign in as many games.

Garbhan Coughlan was also formed part of the Limerick forward line who terrorised Waterford United in the away side's 5-2 victory in the RSC.
