ITT Dublin and IT Carlow advanced to a first CUFL Premier Division Final meeting following semi final victories over University of Ulster Jordanstown and Cork IT today.

Pat Scully’s ITT Dublin won a tight game with UUJ in Oriel Park with a 67th minute goal from substitute Shaun Williams proving decisive. Paul O’Reilly’s IT Carlow were comprehensive 4-1 winners over Cork IT with goals from Tom Elmes (5mins), Ben Ryan (30), Shane Tracey (pen 30) and Arminas Balfuicius (68) with Gavin Moore scoring for Cork IT.

In Division One a powerful display by Brian Donnelly’s Dundalk IT saw them over come the challenge from Colin Hawkins IT Blanchardstown 2-0 at Phoenix FC with goals from the excellent John Bingham and Eoin Murphy. Last season winners Sallynoggin College were beaten on penalties by Johnny Glynn’s Galway Technical Institute after the game finished 0-0.

In Division Two Dublin City University ‘B’ beat hot favourites Inchicore College 4-2 in Terenure with goals from Andrew O'Reagan (2), Cian Murphy and Denis Kealy. Jason O'Neill and Brian Shorthall got the Inchicore goals. Drogheda Institute beat IT Tralee ‘B’ on penalties on Tuesday in Portlaoise after the game finished 3-3.
