Rory Pratt scored a hat-trick for Dun Laoghaire IADT as they beat Dublin Business School tonight in the Bob Eustace Cup Final in IT Sligo.
In the Umbro Cup Semi Finals Letterkenny IT recovered strongly from going two behind to Waterford IT after an hour's play and hit back with four goals to claim a place in the Colleges FAI Umbro Cup Final at IT Sligo.
Darragh Walshe and Craig McGuire put the Waterford side well on top with two quick second half goals. But Letterkenny took advantage of the loss through a neck injury of Waterford centre back Craig McCabe midway into the half and levelled shortly after with goals from Davitt Walsh and substitute Aiden McLoughlin in a five minute spell.
Extra time was the needed to decide the tie and Letterkenny proved the sharper side with McLoughlin grabbing his second of the game and Oisin McMenamin adding Letterkenny's fourth to set up a meeting with Premier League Champions IT Carlow in the decider.
Carlow manage to edge out Colaiste Ide in their semi final game. An early goal from in form striker Tom Elmes gave them a half time lead. But the Finglas side drew level on 70 minutes with a brilliant Jack Watson strike. Both sides then missed penalty kicks before Carlow snatched the win when substitute Chris Kerr shot home in the closing stages of a thrilling game.
