With the first mid-term break for the Institutes over with, all teams walk in match day three well rested.

In the Premier North league UCD are travelling to NUI Galway and NUI Maynooth travel to Athlone for their match against Athlone IT. With one win out of one for the Kildare University and two losses out of two for the midlands Institute, Maynooth will look to may this two wins from two. IT Sligo get another week to recharge their batteries with them being idle for this week. UCC make the trip to face Waterford IT and IT Tralee paly hosts to IT Carlow. University of Limerick are idle this week.
Within division one group A, DIT are idle with NUI Maynooth B hosting UCD B panel and the IT Tallaght v Trinity is rearranged for November 19. In group B, on the back of their 6-1 win over UUJ, DCU will hope to make it two wins from two when they face the second northern side in their league, North West Regional College. UUJ are idle this week so will be well recovered for match day four. IT Blanchardstown travel the short distance north to face Drogheda Institute of Further Education. In group C, there is a Cork derby with Cork IT making the short journey across the city to face UCC B team. With three points from six, U.C.C are hoping to double their points to make it two wins in three. Limerick IT are Galway bound for their match against GMIT. Whilst Mary I are idle this week.
