Applying for a Maynooth University Soccer Scholarship
Applicants are required to meet the normal matriculation requirements and any special course requirements.
In recognition of the competition and training commitments of high performance athletes, successful soccer scholarship applicants will be credited with up to CAO 60 points (as required) to assist them get their Maynooth University course of choice.
The point's concession does not apply to MH001 or MH 002 Education - Primary Teach¬ing. Applicants will be expected to have attained at least 300 points in their best six Leaving Certificate subjects. Post graduate applications will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Eligibility & Renewal Criteria
Scholarships are intended for student-athletes with proven or perceived potential to perform at a high level. They are awarded to both under and postgraduate students for a period of one year, but can be renewed subject to a satisfactory level of aca¬demic and sporting progression being maintained.
Sports scholars must make themselves available to compete on behalf of Maynooth University at intervarsity competitions, are expected to contribute to the running and administration of their Maynooth University Club and be willing to visit schools or attend Open Days to discuss sporting talent and opportunities at Maynooth University.
Application is open to all regardless of which club you are currently play for.
